For our next Pride event, join us at the Citadella Theatre on Thursday September 5th at 7PM to take part in a community discussion with activists from Gozo and Malta as we celebrate 20 Years of Pride on our island. Join the conversation as we talk about the origins of Pride in Malta, the strides that have been taken for equality, and what still needs to happen for our society to be truly equal, particularly for marginalised people within the LGBTQIA+ community. LGBTI+ Gozo is proud to be joined by Allied Rainbow Communities – ARC, MGRM, Drachma LGBTI, @drachma_parents, Checkpoint Malta, @movimentgraffitti and other activists for this discussion.
This is also an opportunity for your voice to be heard and speak up about injustices you witness within our society when it comes to LGBTQIA+ realities. This is a great event to get into activism and meet some of the players who fight for Pride every day of the year.
