Have you ever wanted to try your hand at creating your own ceramics? Our Pottery for Beginners Taster Workshop offers the perfect introduction to the world of pottery, where you can get creative with clay and discover the joy of crafting your own pieces.
In this beginner-friendly workshop (ages 14+), designed for all levels from complete novices to those seeking a relaxing creative experience, you’ll learn essential hand-building pottery techniques such as pinch pots and coiling. Our expert tutor will guide you step by step as you shape your own unique candle holder. You’ll have the chance to experiment with textures, patterns, and decorative elements, allowing your creativity to shine as you personalise your piece. After the session, your pottery will be bisque fired to harden the clay, and since this process takes time, your finished piece will be ready for collection in about a month. We’ll notify you when it’s ready for you to pick up and take home!
