“The symbol is a conventional representation of cerebral intelligence.
The Hieroglyph, on the other hand, is a direct, nonconventional form of writing with the unique ability to transcribe the innate “intelligence-of-the-heart.” R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz.
Join us for an interactive talk about the symbolism of ancient Egypt and the mystery schools. With references to R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz and John Anthony West, the speaker will introduce us to the magic and mysticism of “the serpent in the sky”, or high wisdom, in a theatrical presentation style. Singing, using the Zen tarot cards or playing the guitar, he will immerse the audience into a unique exploration where the present has the power. Not to be missed!

– About the Speaker:
Jonathan Orchard is a performance artist, musician and yoga retreat leader. He lived in Luxor, near the temple of Man, where he led many yoga retreats. He is presently living in Malta, where he took part in the Cristóbal Gabarrón action painting at Ġgantija Temples, and performed his one man show, Mr. Split, at Arthall.
Jonathan qualified in 2002 with the International school of Sivananda Yoga. He attended the world sound healing conference in San Francisco and other yoga retreats in Hawaii while based in Mount Shasta California.
