Building on the success of last year’s event, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming edition of the Aurora International Folk Festival, taking place from the 20th to the 22nd of October at the Gozo Citadel. The full program runs as follows:
Friday 20th October: Folk shows by the Leone Ensemble, Aurora Folk Group (Malta), I Picciotti da Purtedda (Sicily), Chludowianie Rajlender (Poland) , Chludowianie Wiatroki (Poland) and a concert by Cash and Trio.
Wine and platters will be available all night. Event Starts at 8.00pm to 11.30pm.
Saturday 21st October: Traditional Dinner accompanied by folk shows by Aurora Folk Group (Malta), I Picciotti da Purtedda (Sicily), Chludowianie Rajlender (Poland) , Chludowianie Wiatroki (Poland) and Duk Kudat (Serbia).
Wine and drinks are available to those wishing to attend for the shows without the dinner.
Events starts at 8.00pm to 11.30pm.
Sunday 22nd October : Sunday Morning there will be shows by Aurora Folk Group (Malta), I Picciotti da Purtedda (Sicily), Chludowianie Rajlender (Poland) , Chludowianie Wiatroki (Poland). Being the feast of St Ursula there will also be the traditional procession from the Cathedral with St.Ursula.
Traditional Maltese Coffee and pastizzi will be served at the bar all Morning.
Event starts at 9.00am to 12.00pm
