Chrysalis Studio is collaborating with Aikikai Malta for a series of artistic events where participants receive free Aikido classes. Aikido is known as a spiritual martial art, and like Tai Chi, its cornerstone lies in a centered interiority that calls upon its practitioner an attitude of integrity, mindfulness, compassion, and discipline. Aikido distinguishes itself from Tai Chi and other martial disciplines in that there are no kicks and no punches, making it particularly accessible for practitioners of any gender, age, and any level.
A series of art workshops depicting Japanese themes – inspired by the cultural background of Aikido. Anyone attending will receive a €10 voucher to be used for Aikido classes held by Aikikai Malta, in addition to €25 voucher to be used in products and/or services related to the activities of the studio.
The first art workshop celebrates the beauty of Mount Fuji during Fall (ages 12+). No art experience is required.
Aikido classes are held in Malta and the art tutor will liaise with the participants to drive them (at no extra cost) to the venue.
