The National and Regional Celebrations Committee, within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Maltese Language Academy, is pleased to invite you to a commemoration in honour of the National Poet titled Dun Karm minn ‘Lil Hinn’.
Join us for a heartfelt evening celebrating the life and works of Dun Karm Psaila, Malta’s beloved national poet. This special event will honour his enduring legacy through poetry readings, musical tributes, and reflections on his profound contribution to Maltese literature, language, and culture.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience the richness of Dun Karm’s writings—works that have shaped the national identity and continue to inspire generations. The evening will feature performances by local artists, scholars, and admirers of Dun Karm’s work.

The event will take place on Friday, 24th October 2025 at 7:00 pm in Triq id-Dejqa, Victoria. Guests are kindly requested to be seated by 6:45 pm. RSVP by Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, on 22156705/8. Formal attire is required. In case of bad weather, the commemoration will be held in Hall Number 2, Cittadella Cultural Centre.
