Il-Ġrajja Tal-Milied

An exhibition that beautifully captures the timeless story of the Nativity through traditional Maltese craftsmanship.

Step into a world where history, faith, and creativity come together in intricately hand-crafted, artistic dioramas. Each of the four pieces tells its own story of devotion and artistry, whilst depicting the nativity scene amidst traditional Gozitan and Maltese scenery. The dioramas are handmade by artists Ġanni Attard and Beatrice Cini, using jablo, expanding foam and plaster, as well as mixed media, including artistic pastels.

The artists’ works reflect the rich cultural heritage and heartfelt spirit of the Maltese Christmas, giving you and your family a chance to experience the magic of the season in an atmosphere filled with light, music, and community joy. Celebrate the talent of local artisans and discover the traditions that have shaped our islands for generations.
