Solemn Mass and Te Deum led by Monsignor Karm Borg.

6:45 p.m.
Solemn Procession of the Relic of Our Lady from the Eucharistic Chapel to the Parish Sanctuary, led by Monsignor Frangisk Sultana.

7:00 p.m.
Solemn Concelebrated Mass presided by the Bishop of Gozo, H.E.T. Mons. Anton Teuma, together with several priests from the parish and other invited clergy.

9:00 p.m.
The San Girgor Band will march from the band club to the same square at Orvieto Square, passing through San Gorg Square and Avukat Anton Calleja Street.

10:45 p.m.
From Kalandrijiet Street, the pyrotechnic show “Flames Across the Sky” begins. This will include:

  • A musical fireworks display launched from Summer Palace grounds.

  • Traditional Maltese ground fireworks (“logħob tan-nar tal-art”) from multiple local clubs: Għaqda tan-Nar 12 ta’ Lulju, Għaqda tan-Nar San Ġorġ, and the younger enthusiasts from the San Ġorġ fireworks team.

  • A unique synchronized aerial fireworks display by several top Maltese fireworks factories: Mary’s Fireworks from Qrendi, 25 ta’ Novembru from Żejtun, and San Mikiel from Lija.

Midnight
A grand fireworks spectacle featuring mechanical ground fireworks.
