Nadur Nature Walk

This event is being organised by Din L-Art Ħelwa Għawdex, in partnership with Nature Trust Malta-FEE. Learn more about some of Gozo’s rich variety of flora and fauna, whilst spending time surrounded by nature. Enjoy amazing views of the dramatic rocky coastline and blue waters of the north-eastern coast of Gozo. Along this circular route, you will have the opportunity to experience breath-taking views, fascinating scenery and stunning valley views. The walk will begin at the San Blas Gardens and follow a circular route, passing Qortin Natura 2000 site, Il-Wied ta’ Grejgel, San Filep Bay, skirting Mistra Rocks, along the side of the beautiful Riħan Valley, before returning to our starting point. Along the way there will be the opportunity to learn more about endemic plants found in the garrigue terrain and this area of unspoilt natural landscape. Most of the walk will be on uneven surfaces with some slight changes in slope and height. There are three steep sections along rocky tracks and there will also be some walking on quiet country roads. We recommend wearing footwear with a good grip and ankle support, bringing plenty of drinking water, a hat, waterproof clothing and sunblock. There are no public toilets available at San Blas Gardens or along the route. Spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment. To book your place, send an e-mail with your name and contact details to [email protected] Please note: This event is open to adults and children aged 15 or over.
