Seminar – Construction Methods for Adaptability to the Gozo Local Context

Gozo is the second largest island in the Maltese archipelago, following Malta. Adapting construction methods to this context ensures that local trade retains its standards and employability through time. The building industry benefits all stakeholders when social advancement is made possible using genuine execution of processes and procedures. This seminar provides a comprehensive examination of four critical areas that contribute to this determination: risk management, heritage governance, public procurement technique, and project conflict, mediation, or trade-off modelling. The relationships between the client, contractor, developer, and authorities are rendered dependable, meaningful, and feasible once fundamental information is conveyed to all stakeholders in a manner that is supportive of the needs within the Gozo-built environment. Encouraging a response that will be beneficial in the future is facilitated by interpreting the client requirements and ensuring that they are compatible with Gozo, which is unique due to its nature, history and governing methods.
