6:45pm: Pontifical concelebrated Mass with a sermon for the Triduum preached by Fr. Alan Joseph Adami O.P. STB. STL.
8:00pm: Hymn “O Prima Virgo,” Antiphon and Eucharistic Blessing led by Monsignor Archpriest Joseph Sultana.
9:00pm: March by the Santa Marija Band (from Żebbuġ), starting from Cathedral Square to Independence Square. Afterwards, a musical program on stage in Independence Square under the direction of Mro Dr. Joseph Grech.
9:30pm: The Leone Philharmonic Band pays tribute to the statue of Santa Marija (1956) in front of the band club by playing the hymn-march ‘Lil Santa Marija Assunta’, followed by a rooftop musical show. The evening continues with a marching display by the La Valette Band (from Valletta) along Republic Street to Independence Square.
