Our guesthouse, the Razzett Pepprina (Poppy Farm) is a beautifully converted 400 year old farmhouse, in the beautiful village of Xaghra on Gozo. It has a lot original features of old Gozitan houses: high vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, coloured windows and doors, wonderful arches and original quarry stone walls. All rooms have air conditioning, modern bathrooms with in-room rain showers, coffee maker, fridge, safe, hairdryer and water heater. There is a TV in every room with a large selection of Maltese, German, British and foreign channels as well as Netflix, Amazon, Youtube etc. The house has 3 very large bedrooms for our guests. All bedrooms have balconies, en-suite bathrooms and high-quality real wood furniture. A spiral staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor, which is very private and has a large roof terrace with panoramic views. The only room on the second floor.
The house is located in a very quiet cul-de-sac, just a 5-minute walk from the lively village square with its lot of bars and restaurants. Bus route 322 (Marsalforn, Ramla Bay and Mgarr) is only a 5 minute walk from the house, and bus route 307 (Victoria) is only 100 meters from the house.
The farmhouse is spread over 3 levels and is exceptionally spacious. It is furnished with Maltese antiques, art and quality real wood furniture. Ultra-fast fibre optic WLAN is available and included.
The kitchen is very well equipped with high quality cookware, limestone worktops, Smeg appliances including cooker and dishwasher, a side-by-side fridge and a large wooden farmhouse table for 8 people. It leads to a living room with comfortable Italian sofas and an open fireplace. The living room and adjoining hall have large arched French doors opening onto the south-facing terrace with swimming pool, sunbathing area and barbecue, offering all day sun. In the entrance hall there are large bookshelfs with books in English and German for our guests to borrow.
Also you find a lot of games for the evenings. Outside is also the lovely breakfast area, which can also be served in the hall in case of bad weather (is there such a thing?).
We offer also airport and ferry shuttles, private boat trips, stand-up-padles, electric mountainbikes and snorkeling sets.
Also we have child seats for breakfast, baby beds, baby and children toys. Our guests find 1 bottle of water, tea and coffee daily in the rooms.
