Membership

Since its inception, way back in 1999, the Gozo Tourism Association has taken numerous initiatives in favour of the touristic sector on Gozo. 

Several of these initiatives include various publications to promote Gozo like the guide book Gozo – Island of Myth and Miracles, The Directory of Tourism Services on Gozo (four Editions) and Gozo the Hidden Treasures.  All these publications are being used by GTA in several international tourism fairs.

Along the years the GTA has become the regional voice of the Touristic Sector on National level.

The Association is very actively involved and lobby assiduously with the various stakeholders in favour of all  the tourism establishments on Gozo. This proved to be effective along the years especially in tiring and  difficult times  like those of the Covid-19 outbreak. In order to continue and sustain our endeavours, we are reaching out for you to enroll as member of the Gozo Tourism Association so you form part of this regional voice to achieve further in the vital tourism industry on Gozo.

What’s included in the GTA membership

• Free listing of your establishment under your respective section on the GTA website www.islandofgozo.org
• Listing of your accommodation establishment on the GTA booking portal on www.islandofgozo.org
• Regular free updates on the tourism trends with particular reference to Gozo
• Participation during the Annual General meeting of the GTA during which paid up members have the opportunity to vote for their representative
• Participation in several surveys carried out by GTA
• Exclusive participation in all promotional material and brochures which GTA publishes from time to time
• The quarterly GTA newsletter Destination Gozo will be sent to each paid up member
• The unified  protection and promotion of your particular sector and therefore establishment
• Exclusive access to GTA members facebook group and GTA website
• The co-operation with other members of the association especially in your section in dealing with all questions concerning and affecting the  tourism industry.
• The opportunity to air your voice through suggestions and proposals to GTA which on its part through its lobby ensures a satisfactory outcome for the mutual benefit of the touristic sector
