AWARD IN BUSINESS ACCOUNTING
Aim of this Course
This course provides a foundational understanding of accounting within business contexts. Learners will gain practical skills in bookkeeping, ledger accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and bank reconciliation, while aligning with Maltese regulations. Topics include petty cash, trial balances, final accounts for various entities, asset depreciation, and interpretation of financial data through ratios. Learners will also explore both manual and computerised systems, working alongside supervisors to manage accruals, prepayments, and tax control processes.
Entry requirements
Possess a MQF Level 2 qualification in both Mathematics and English Language
Must have completed compulsory schooling and be up to 65 years of age
